How Important is Your Child's Future Success

So, your child's in school for approximately eight hours of the day. By the time you get home from work, finish up what you have to do, have dinner, help with homework and get your child ready for bed, how much time have you really spent with your child on things like focus, confidence, respect, fairness, etc. Who teaches your child, not just how, but why it's important to look someone in the eye and give a firm handshake?

These things are important, but I can assure you, your children are not receiving character education and success training at school by their teachers. So where are they learning it? That leaves their character education to their peers and television.

At Innovative Martial Arts Academy, we use the POWERFUL Words Program integrated into our martial arts curriculum to become a partner with parents to teach what is important. Every month, we focus on a different success trait, we learn the definition, and why it's important to develop this trait at home, at school, and in our community.
