Every woman should know how to defend herself

The world is getting CRAZIER and more violent. Statistically, 1 out of 5 women have been, or will be assaulted in their lifetime.

On Friday, April 29th, at 6:15pm, Innovative Martial Arts Academy Instructors, Charles and Katherine Falk, want to help you avoid danger AND give you tools to fight back should DANGER come to you.

Have you ever wondered what you would do if someone pulled a gun on you?

This Women’s Self Defense Workshop is going to cover what to do and what not to do if this situation ever arises. We will discuss options, strategies and statistics to give you a better chance of escaping unharmed. Disarming your attacker is a last resort but we will teach you basic disarms that you will have an opportunity to practice in class. This is the fun part! This will be hands-on training, working through different scenarios with plenty of time for Q & A. Don’t worry, we use rubber training guns that have no moving parts, make no sound, and cannot shoot.

After the workshop we hope that you will stay for some wine or water and light hors d’oeuvres. Space is limited for this one so sign up now for a kick ass ladies night out!

The cost is ONLY $30 and registration is limited to 20 participants.

Following the classroom portion, we will have a question/answer-social time with light HORS D’OEUVRES and WINE! Talk about a perfect ending to a really good time!

Meet Your Expert Instructors

We’ll cover Red Flags, Environmental Safety Do’s and Don’ts, Victim Avoidance, Strategies of a Predator, and Tools of Self-Preservation. These tools consist of effective techniques you can use right out of the gate. This is NOT a martial arts class, so you don’t have to be in great physical shape, extremely flexible, and be able to kick over your head. You can learn these techniques in this ONE class and become FORMIDABLE to an attacker.
